Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
SaaS businesses that process payments depend on clean, reconcilable data across PSPs, banks, and internal ledgers to keep reporting trustworthy. This Reconciliation Manager role sits in a FinTech department and operates at the junction where subscription revenue, settlement timing, fees, and FX effects can create real mismatches between systems. It is a practical window into how SaaS monetisation infrastructure behaves in production, especially when multiple external payment partners are involved.
From a SaaS career perspective, the work builds durable capability in operational finance: closing discipline, audit readiness, and the mechanics of turning fragmented transaction feeds into reliable financial statements. Experience coordinating Finance, Treasury, and third parties also translates well to other SaaS environments where revenue operations, billing, and finance systems must stay aligned as transaction volumes rise and reporting expectations tighten.
This position tends to suit professionals who enjoy structured problem solving and take satisfaction in tracing discrepancies to root cause. It fits someone comfortable owning timelines, following up persistently with external partners, and communicating clearly across internal stakeholders. For a mid-career operator, it offers a credible pathway into broader finance operations leadership within SaaS and payments-adjacent products.
