Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Finance Manager role stands out in a SaaS-adjacent, multi-entity environment where finance has to keep pace with product-led growth and cross-border operations. The remit spans statutory accounting under German GAAP alongside IFRS reporting, signalling a company operating with the complexity that often comes with international scale and stakeholder scrutiny. It is also notable for its emphasis on modernising the finance stack, reflecting how SaaS businesses increasingly treat finance as a systems and data function, not only a compliance one.
For SaaS career builders, the value lies in developing repeatable close and reporting rhythms, strengthening controls, and translating transactional detail into auditable narratives across entities. Experience improving ERP and automation workflows is particularly portable across subscription businesses, where accuracy, timeliness, and clean data pipelines influence decision-making well beyond finance. Exposure to audit coordination and tax reporting adds durable operating knowledge for future roles in finance leadership.
This role will suit someone who enjoys hands-on ownership, can move between detail work and process design, and is comfortable mentoring others while raising standards. It aligns with professionals who prefer structured accountability, cross-functional collaboration, and solving systems problems inside the finance function.
