Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior HR Business Partner role stands out in the SaaS ecosystem because it sits at the intersection of product-led technology teams and the operating cadence required to ship and iterate. With Cohere building AI models used by developers and enterprises, the people function is closely tied to how technical organisations scale decision-making, manager capability, and team design as customer demand evolves.
For an HRBP building a long-term SaaS career, the work offers durable exposure to operating models common in modern software companies: supporting engineering leaders, translating business priorities into talent and org design choices, and building repeatable people processes that can keep pace with changing team structures. The remit spans both day-to-day partnership and project-based work, which tends to strengthen judgment around what must be standardised versus what should remain flexible in a technical environment.
This role is best suited to someone who prefers being embedded with technical stakeholders, is comfortable navigating ambiguity without over-indexing on policy, and enjoys combining advisory work with hands-on execution. It will particularly fit an experienced HRBP who wants to deepen expertise in supporting managers and teams building developer-oriented SaaS products.
