Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Field marketing remains one of the clearest bridges between product narrative and revenue in B2B SaaS, and this role sits directly on that seam. Empirical Security operates in exposure management, a security category where credibility is earned in practitioner-heavy venues and buyer trust is influenced by peer conversations. The emphasis on trade shows, regional dinners, partner events, and virtual programs signals a go-to-market motion that relies on targeted, high-intent interactions rather than broad awareness alone.
For a SaaS marketer, the career upside is the chance to build repeatable field plays that map to an ideal customer profile and can be measured through pipeline impact. Ownership of event selection, budgeting, and execution develops the operating discipline that SaaS teams need when scaling demand generation. The HubSpot component also reinforces modern SaaS expectations around attribution, lifecycle tracking, and turning in-person engagement into structured campaign learning.
This role tends to suit someone who enjoys end-to-end accountability and cross-functional work with sales, from pre-event targeting through post-event follow-up. It fits a marketer who balances creative production with process, and who prefers tangible market feedback loops. Comfort operating with startup-style scope and ambiguity would align well with the remit described.

Job Description
Empirical Security is a quantum leap forward in exposure management, building custom models at scale to help organizations predict and prioritize the threats most likely to endanger them. Enterprises can no longer keep up with the flood of potential exploits caused by the AI era; only Empirical gives resource-strapped security teams the predictive capabilities to punch way above their weight class.
We're looking for a dedicated, experienced, and basically brilliant Field Marketing Manager to help evangelize our story and acquire new customers through a range of trade shows, regional dinners, partner events, and other field campaigns designed to accelerate the speed of an already fast-growth company.
What you'll do:
Drive our event strategy from top to bottom, including targeting events that align to our ICP and handling strategy, budgeting, logistics, and execution.
Take on all kinds of events including physical and virtual, from the large (Black Hat, RSA) to the small (15-person steakhouse dinner somewhere).
Oversee booth/signage/swag design and storage.
Manage campaigns in HubSpot to track the results of your outstanding efforts.
You would be an excellent candidate if...
You have a strong creative flair and understand how to elevate trade shows and events with that extra special touch of magic detail.
You've worked in the trenches with sales teams and understand their needs.
You view qualified sales pipeline as your North Star for all of your field marketing activities (not just lead scans).
You've worked at smaller startups or at least are excited about the possibility to help a phenomenal one grow.
Extra credit if:
You have experience with other vulnerability management, exposure management, or security products, or with channel partners in the cybersecurity industry.
A Final Word
Don't check off every box in the requirements listed above? Please apply anyway! Studies have shown that marginalized communities - such as women, LGBTQ+ and people of color - are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. Empirical Security is dedicated to building an inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible workplace that fosters a sense of belonging – so if you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to still consider submitting an application. You may be just the right candidate for this role or another one of our openings!
