Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Business Operations Manager role stands out in SaaS because it sits at the operating system layer of a B2B platform business, where execution discipline directly affects product delivery, go to market coordination, and customer experience. In a payroll and payments SaaS context with global complexity, operational decisions tend to be tightly coupled to compliance, process reliability, and cross functional handoffs, making the remit inherently enterprise grade.
For a SaaS career path, the role builds durable leverage in how subscription businesses scale: translating strategy into OKRs, turning ambiguous priorities into roadmaps, and running end to end programs that cut across functions. The emphasis on AI informed efficiency work also signals exposure to modern operating models where automation, measurement, and iteration shape how teams plan and deliver.
This position is best suited to operators who prefer structured problem solving over narrow ownership, and who are comfortable being the connective tissue between leadership intent and day to day execution. It will fit someone who enjoys designing mechanisms, driving alignment, and keeping complex initiatives moving without relying on an inherited playbook.

- Partner with leadership on operational strategy and bring structure to ambiguity
Requirements:
- 7+ years in business operations or a similar role
- Experience building efficiency programs in an AI-first environment
- Strong project management skills across complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Hands-on experience with OKRs and roadmap planning
- AI native - you use AI tools naturally to work faster and smarter
- High ownership - you take a problem and run with it
- A collaborator who can work across all levels and make things happen
