Snowflake’s Professional Services team is growing our nearshore delivery capability in Mexico to support customers across the U.S. and Canada. As a Consulting Manager, Services Delivery Management, you’ll lead a team of Associate Services Delivery Managers (SDMs) based in Mexico and help build out this key hub for delivery excellence.
You’ll provide strategic oversight for customer engagements, lead project delivery operations, and support the growth and development of a high-performing SDM team. This is a player-coach role: we’re looking for someone with strong project delivery expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for coaching others to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
Lead and develop a team of Associate SDMs delivering Snowflake implementations and services across North America
Provide operational, tactical, and strategic oversight of the project portfolio, ensuring engagements are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Proactively identify project risks in collaboration with SDMs and guide issue resolution
Champion a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence
Mentor your team and support career development and skills growth
Lead local hiring and onboarding efforts to scale our Mexico SDM team
Act as a senior advisor for project/program management across Snowflake implementations
Ensure teams are following Snowflake delivery best practices and contributing to quality outcomes
Collaborate with Services Practice Leads and Sales teams to scope, estimate, and propose services engagements
Partner with customers, SIs, and technology vendors to drive project success
Develop and refine internal delivery processes and frameworks
Lead high-profile escalations as needed, providing tactical guidance and resolution paths
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to support customer feedback and improve our offerings
Represent our services delivery capabilities to internal and external stakeholders
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
BS/BA in project management, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field—or equivalent practical experience
10+ years of experience in customer-facing delivery roles, focused on professional services execution
5+ years of experience in people management, coaching, and developing delivery teams
Deep project management expertise with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies (certifications like PMP or Scrum are a plus)
Experience managing technical projects involving data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and migrations
Familiarity with enterprise-scale tools and technologies including:
Data platforms: Oracle, Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum
Integration tools: Informatica, Talend, DataStage, Matillion
BI tools: Tableau, Microstrategy, Business Objects
Strong consulting skills: stakeholder management, proactive problem-solving, and ability to translate business goals into delivery outcomes
Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time for customer engagements
