What's the opportunity?
As Private Equity Partnerships Manager, you will spearhead Intercom’s efforts to build deep, value-driven relationships with private equity (PE) firms and their portfolio companies. This is a highly strategic and externally facing role that sits at the intersection of enterprise sales, partnerships, and corporate strategy.
You’ll be instrumental in accelerating the adoption of Intercom’s cutting-edge AI solution, Fin, within high-growth companies navigating digital transformation under private equity ownership This includes proactively identifying and building relationships with key stakeholders at private equity firms - operating partners, portfolio growth teams, and technology advisors and becoming a trusted advisor on how Intercom’s solutions can help drive value creation.
Your work will also involve creating scalable engagement models and joint go-to-market strategies that result in measurable business outcomes such as portfolio-wide adoption programs, technology stack modernization, and revenue acceleration initiatives. You’ll work closely with Intercom’s sales, marketing, product, and success teams to create tailored enablement and onboarding programs for portfolio companies.

What will I be doing?
- Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and source critical partnerships with private equity firms and their portfolio companies, aligning with Intercom's mission and vision.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with partners to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including joint value propositions, sales enablement, and co-marketing initiatives.
- Revenue Growth: Manage a portfolio of high-performing partners to achieve partnership goals, including new and existing business revenue, and marketing activities.
- Sales Enablement: Work closely with sales leadership and representatives to leverage the partner community, co-sell, and accelerate the sales cycle.
- Best Practices Development: Develop and implement best practices for partner engagement, including goal setting, technical requirements, and training.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and identify new partnership opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams, including product, marketing, and customer success, to ensure alignment and support for partnership initiatives.
What skills do I need?
- 8+ years in partner management, business development, or sales, with a strong focus on B2B and SaaS environments.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building successful Private Equity partnerships
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Ability to work with data and generate actionable insights to inform partnership strategies.

The base salary range for candidates within the San Francisco Bay Area is $265,000-$308,000. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All regular employees may also be eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
