As Chief of Staff reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer and Head of People, you will have an immediate impact on productivity, streamlining strategic initiatives, and aligning objectives between teams. You will act as the right hand to the Chief Legal Officer and Head of People. In this highly strategic role, you will partner with executives and senior leaders both across the business and within the Legal and People orgs.
What you’ll do:
- Strategic Partner: Work closely with the Chief Legal Officer and Head of People to prioritize and manage key initiatives that align with the company’s strategic goals, providing critical support in decision-making processes.
- Project Management: Oversee and drive large-scale projects and initiatives, ensuring they are executed efficiently, on time, and within scope and budget.
- Communication Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of the Chief Legal Officer and Head of People, drafting documents, talking points, and presentations.
- Data-Driven Analysis: Leverage data in analysis to drive decision-making and provide insights and recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate and coordinate cross-departmental efforts, acting as a bridge between legal, people, and other organizational functions to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Operational Excellence: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the legal and people teams and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
- Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring their feedback is incorporated into initiatives.
- Technology and AI Integration: Embrace a technology-forward approach by integrating AI and other innovative tools to increase efficiency and productivity. Continuously explore and implement new technologies to streamline operations and improve team experience.
What you bring:
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including proven track record of strong execution and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas.
- Experience leveraging data in analysis to drive decision-making.
- Background in legal, people, or operations preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and build consensus among diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Willingness to lead in a hands-on, high-performance environment.

The salary range for this role is $235,000 to $276,000 in San Francisco, CA.
