Summary:
The Global Compliance Learning Specialist will support our learning and compliance initiatives by supporting global compliance training programs, ensuring Learning Management System (LMS) optimization, and designing learning experiences that meet international standards such as ISO 9001, SOC 2, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks. As a member of the Learning & Enablement team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, and audit/compliance teams to ensure company-wide regulatory alignment and employee readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the Learning Management System (LMS), Workday Learning, to deliver compliance training globally.
- Design, develop, and maintain compliance-related training content, including eLearning modules, Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT), and microlearning.
- Collaborate with internal compliance, security, and legal teams to align training programs with ISO 9001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and other standards.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance training completions to support audit requirements.
- Assist with monitoring regulatory changes and proactively update learning programs to stay ahead of evolving compliance standards.
- Assist with managing annual compliance learning calendar and track compliance metrics for reporting to leadership and auditors.
- Develop course-based assessments, knowledge checks, and evaluations to validate learning and ensure regulatory effectiveness.
- Provide technical support for LMS users and troubleshoot compliance learning-related issues.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits.
- Champion a culture of compliance, security awareness, and continuous learning across the organization.
- Support design, development, and administration of learning initiatives other than compliance as required based on evolving business and team needs.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of experience in corporate learning roles, preferably in tech, SaaS, or cloud industries.
- Strong LMS experience with Workday Learning required.
- Demonstrated instructional design skills.
- Basic graphic design or video editing capabilities for enhancing learning content.
- Curriculum Development experience required.
- Proficiency in learning content development tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Captivate, or similar.
- Strong project management, organization, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex regulations into clear, understandable learning materials.
- Exceptional attention to detail, documentation, and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree, professional certifications, and/or equivalent experience in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, HR, or a related field required.
Desirable Skills:
- Workday Learning Report Writer preferred.
- Experience working within a cloud services or highly regulated environment.
- Familiarity with security awareness programs and cybersecurity training.
- Experience with SCORM/xAPI compliance and LMS reporting standards.
