Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Director of Product Management role sits in a core SaaS-adjacent domain: business continuity, disaster recovery, and ransomware-resilient operations. In the SaaS ecosystem—especially for MSP-focused platforms—reliability, recovery time, and security posture are product differentiators, not just technical concerns. Leading a BCDR portfolio signals ownership of capabilities that customers evaluate under real operational risk, where trust is earned through measurable outcomes.
From a SaaS career perspective, the remit spans the full product operating system: aligning multi-team execution with a coherent roadmap, translating customer feedback into requirements, and pairing product decisions with KPIs and financial planning. That combination is particularly transferable across enterprise SaaS, where product leaders are expected to connect usage and quality metrics to commercial performance while coordinating Engineering, Security, Support, and go-to-market stakeholders.
This is best suited to a product leader who prefers ambiguous, high-consequence problem spaces and is comfortable acting as the product’s external voice with customers and internal teams. It fits someone who values cross-functional influence, can balance technical depth with business trade-offs, and wants to shape a platform component that other SaaS products and IT services depend on.
