Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Netomi sits at the intersection of enterprise SaaS and applied AI, selling a platform that supports customer-experience automation across large, complex organisations. That context makes finance and operations work materially different from traditional back-office roles: reporting and controls need to map to subscription-style revenue dynamics, stakeholder scrutiny, and the operational cadence of a product-led software business serving major accounts.
For a SaaS career, this role offers a strong foundation in the mechanics that underpin scalable software companies—monthly close discipline, GAAP-aware reporting, and the operating rhythms that connect invoicing, collections, and cash planning to leadership decision-making. The remit also includes dashboards and variance analysis, which are practical building blocks for moving into FP&A, finance business partnering, or broader operations roles commonly found as SaaS teams mature.
The position is best suited to a hands-on finance professional who prefers end-to-end ownership and is comfortable working through evolving processes rather than inheriting a fully standardised finance function. It will appeal to someone who values cross-functional exposure (finance, people ops, legal, leadership) and wants a role where execution and judgement are both visible to internal leaders and external stakeholders.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.
