Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Truework operates as an independent business inside Checkr following its acquisition, which makes this a notable SaaS operating-model: a product-led company with the latitude to iterate quickly while benefiting from the infrastructure and standards of a larger platform. The remit sits in operations, but it is tightly connected to how a SaaS business delivers outcomes—coordinating cross-functional initiatives that translate product and customer priorities into repeatable execution.
For a SaaS career, program management in operations is a durable pathway because it builds fluency in the systems that underpin scale: process design, stakeholder alignment, and measurement-driven improvement. The work described—optimising workflows, launching initiatives, and enabling teams through training—maps to the kinds of operational mechanics that recur across SaaS companies as they expand product lines, volumes, and customer segments. Experience partnering with product and engineering also strengthens a practitioner’s ability to navigate the interface between build and run.
This role tends to suit professionals who prefer structured problem-solving and orchestration over owning a single functional lane. It is a strong match for someone who enjoys ambiguity, can influence without direct authority, and wants to be close to strategic priorities while staying grounded in operational reality.
