Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Enterprise EPM sits at a busy intersection of finance transformation, data unification, and executive decision-making—areas where SaaS platforms win or lose on measurable outcomes. This role is featured because it operates in the “system-of-record” layer of the modern CFO stack, selling planning and performance management software into large enterprises where buying cycles, stakeholder maps, and value narratives are materially different from mid-market SaaS.
For a long-term SaaS sales career, enterprise EPM experience tends to compound. It builds fluency in consultative discovery around planning processes, the ability to translate product capabilities into business cases, and the discipline of running complex opportunities through a CRM. It also creates repeatable skills in executive alignment and cross-functional coordination with solutions and customer teams—core patterns across many B2B SaaS categories.
This position fits sellers who prefer full-cycle ownership and sustained outbound motion, and who are comfortable engaging C-suite stakeholders with structured points of view. It is particularly aligned to professionals who want their craft to be anchored in multi-threaded deals, quantified ROI, and long-horizon account development rather than transactional volume.
