Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Employee Success Manager roles are still relatively uncommon in SaaS, where “enablement” is often limited to training and tooling. This position stands out by applying behavioural science directly to sales performance, linking individual motivation and goal-setting to organisational outcomes. The remit spans coaching, program design, and measurement, signalling a SaaS organisation mature enough to invest in sustained performance rather than relying solely on short-term incentives.
For a SaaS career, the transferable value sits in building systems that scale across a revenue team: structured frameworks, repeatable workshops, and feedback loops that can be iterated over time. The role also develops a practical blend of qualitative coaching and quantitative tracking—an increasingly important combination in SaaS environments where retention, productivity, and engagement are monitored alongside core commercial metrics. Experience partnering with sales leadership and HR/L&D further strengthens cross-functional fluency that carries across SaaS companies.
This role is best suited to professionals who prefer influencing through facilitation and 1:1 development rather than direct quota ownership. It fits someone comfortable translating psychological concepts into day-to-day behaviours, and who takes a methodical approach to diagnosing disengagement and improving routines. Berlin-based candidates who want a specialist path adjacent to revenue leadership will find the scope particularly aligned.
