Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Recruiting Coordinator role stands out in SaaS because it sits at the operational core of how product-led companies add talent without introducing friction. Coordinating across US and Costa Rica time zones, while using an ATS like Greenhouse, reflects the distributed hiring models common in modern SaaS organizations where speed and process quality need to coexist.
For a SaaS career, the value is in developing repeatable recruiting operations: structured scheduling, clean pipeline hygiene, and tool-driven workflow improvements. Exposure to onboarding steps such as background checks and Jira-based requests also builds familiarity with how SaaS companies connect People Ops to IT and security workflows—experience that transfers well into recruiting operations, talent operations, or broader HR systems roles.
This position tends to suit someone who prefers structured problem-solving and dependable execution, and who enjoys being a connective layer between recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates. It also fits professionals who like improving processes incrementally—automating where possible—while maintaining a consistent candidate experience across multiple teams and calendars.
