Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Manager, International Tax role stands out in the SaaS ecosystem because it sits at the intersection of global expansion and recurring-revenue operations. Snowflake’s footprint across EMEA and APAC, alongside US reporting expectations, creates a tax environment shaped by cross-border entities, customer contracting patterns, and multi-jurisdiction compliance that are common in enterprise SaaS at scale.
For a SaaS career, the long-term value is in building a repeatable playbook for international tax operations that can travel across high-growth software companies. The remit spans provision work under US GAAP or IFRS, coordination with statutory accounting teams, and partnership with Legal, Treasury, and Finance, all of which are core interfaces in SaaS organisations where tax decisions influence go-to-market execution and entity structuring. The emphasis on process improvement, automation, and SOX participation also aligns with how mature SaaS firms professionalise finance functions.
This position is best suited to a manager who enjoys operating as a connector across regions and disciplines, balancing technical depth with pragmatic execution. It will fit someone who is comfortable owning timelines, mentoring others, and translating complex tax considerations into decisions that support international operations.
