Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Deel sits in the infrastructure layer of modern SaaS, where product value is tightly coupled to integrations, compliance requirements, and multi-region go to market execution. A Global Head of Partnerships is central in that kind of platform business because partner ecosystems often determine distribution, product extensibility, and credibility in adjacent categories like HRIS, fintech, and ERP.
From a SaaS career standpoint, this role builds durable operating leverage: designing partner programs that can be measured, repeated, and governed across geographies. It also creates rare cross-functional fluency, connecting product and engineering decisions to revenue mechanics such as attribution, pipeline influence, and partner-sourced ARR, which are common evaluation lenses in mature SaaS organisations.
This position best fits a senior operator who prefers building systems over managing one-off deals, and who can move between executive-level relationship work and detailed process or integration review. It will suit someone comfortable leading leaders in a distributed environment and motivated by the complexity of scaling partnerships as a true business line rather than a support function.

The Role
We are looking for a Global Head of Partnerships to lead, scale, and evolve our partner ecosystem. Partnerships are a core engine of Deel’s growth, spanning technology integrations (HCM, Fintech, ERP), channel partners, and strategic service providers.
The ideal candidate is a "leader of leaders" who has successfully built multi-billion dollar ecosystems in a scale-up environment. You have the executive presence to navigate boardroom-level negotiations, yet maintain the granular obsession of a builder who can audit an API integration or a referral workflow at the lowest level of detail.
What you’ll do
Architect the Global Strategy: Build and execute the multi-year roadmap for Deel’s global partnership ecosystem, including Tech/ISV, Channel/SI, and Strategic Alliances.
Scale the "Machine": Evolve our partnership function into a repeatable, data-driven revenue engine that contributes significantly to Deel’s ARR.
Lead a High-Performance Team: Direct a global, distributed team of partnership managers. You will be responsible for hiring top-tier talent and mentoring them into the next generation of Deel leaders.
Drive Executive Alliances: Personal ownership of Deel’s most critical, high-impact strategic relationships. You’ll be the face of Deel for our most important global partners.
Operational Excellence: Own the partnerships P&L. Define the KPIs, oversee the tech stack (PRM, attribution models), and ensure seamless cross-functional alignment with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance.
Product-Led Growth: Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to ensure our platform is "built for partners," driving deeper integrations that create "sticky" value for our shared customers.
What you’ll need
10+ Years of Experience: Proven track record in partnership leadership within a high-growth, global SaaS and Services environment.
The "Builder" Mindset: Experience taking a function from 10 to 100. You are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in an environment where you often have to build the plane while flying it.
Leader of Leaders: Experience managing managers and scaling large, geographically dispersed teams. You know how to empower your team while maintaining high standards of accountability.
Extreme Detail Orientation: You are a "Player-Coach." You can go from a 30,000-foot strategy session to a 1-foot deep dive into a specific contract clause or technical workflow without missing a beat.
Global Perspective: Experience managing global mandates and understanding the nuances of building partnerships across different regions (EMEA, AMER, APAC, LATAM).
Executive Presence: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. You are comfortable presenting to CEOs and Boards of Directors, both at Deel and at our partners.
Bonus Points
You’ve previously worked at a "decacorn" or a company that scaled from Series C through IPO.
Deep expertise in the HCM, Payroll, or Global Compliance landscape.
