Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Rilla sits in a distinct corner of B2B SaaS: conversation intelligence built for in person sales teams in trades and other offline industries. That combination of mobile capture, transcription, and analysis puts brand work unusually close to product reality, because the story has to bridge AI capabilities with on the ground workflows. The role is also embedded in revenue, signalling a focus on brand as a lever across acquisition and go to market touchpoints rather than a purely top of funnel function.
For a SaaS career, this kind of seat tends to build fluency in how visual systems support the full customer journey, from performance channels to sales enablement to product launches. It also develops the habit of designing within constraints common to SaaS teams: rapid iteration, cross functional feedback loops, and the need to maintain consistency across many surfaces as a product and messaging evolve.
This role suits a designer who prefers broad ownership over a narrow lane and who enjoys collaborating with marketing, sales, customer success, and product stakeholders. It will likely fit someone comfortable balancing craft with commercial context, and who wants their portfolio to reflect measurable business moments rather than only brand refresh work.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.
Job Description
Who We Are
Rilla’s the leading conversation intelligence software for in-person sales. Think HVAC, real estate, automobile, and windows.
They talk to customers face to face, our mobile app records their conversations, and our AI automatically transcribes and analyzes their conversations to help them improve their sales.
Our vision is to make the offline world of commerce as searchable and easy to understand as the internet.
And empower blue-collar, trades businesses—that have been historically underserved by technology—with the tools and decision-making abilities of the largest tech companies.
We’re growing 10% MoM, have hundreds of clients, including Fortune 500 companies.
Our Net Revenue Retention above 170%, our NPS is higher than the iPhone’s, and we are cash flow positive!
We have one of the strongest brands our customers have ever seen.
Brand Examples & Customer Love
This didn’t happen by accident.
We think most B2B softwares and products suck. And we think the way they market themselves sucks even more.
Our heroes are the consumer companies that capture attention and deliver some of the most widely used products in the world.
Just because contracts are signed and people have to use software for work, doesn’t mean we can’t put the same level of attention, care, and creativity that Apple or Nike does in their work.
As a result…
We are one of the fastest-growing startups in the world right now and in history.
We’re backed by Byron Deeter (one of the best investors of all time) from Bessemer Venture Partners, the top Cloud investor in the world.
And we’re a Cloud 100 Rising Star company.
Who You Are
🧠 An infinite learner. Someone who is always curious. You quickly learn new technologies and execute independently. You are a generalist who will deep dive into a challenge.
🔍 A customer obsessive. Someone who deeply cares about delighting customers and solving their pains, not about vanity metrics.
🏆 A superstar. You dedicate your life to mastering your craft and leaving your mark on the world, and want to be around a team that is similarly obsessed with greatness. We work 6 days a week, 12 hour days, because to us, building and defining the future is the most fulfilling thing in the world.
🏅 A quality obsessive. Someone who deeply cares about our users and the quality of their work. Our customers are not tech companies. They’re people who live and work in the real world. To solve problems for them you need to have extreme empathy. You have to understand how they work, what they need, and want, and how to make their lives better.
🤝 A team player. You love giving and receiving feedback, and learning and growing as a team.
📈 Unafraid of failure. You take risks. You see failure as an opportunity to learn, grow, and be better the next time. In a weird way, you trick your brain into being excited when you fail, because it means you got a new opportunity to learn more.
What You’ll Get
You’ll be part of one of the fastest-growing startups in the world.
In a space that’s completely untapped and where we have no competition.
As the first full-time Brand/Graphic Designer on our Revenue team, you’ll use your visual storytelling and design skills to shape the future of how Rilla looks, feels, and shows up to the world.
You’ll elevate every touchpoint across the customer journey—from ads and events to sales enablement material and product marketing—and lay the foundation for a world-class brand.
What You’ll Do
Design stunning physical and digital assets for major moments across the company—campaigns, events, sales activations, product launches, and more.
Own the visual execution of our brand across key marketing and sales touchpoints, upleveling our presence with every asset.
Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, CS, and product teams to ensure the Rilla brand is consistent, elite, and high-impact across the entire customer journey.
Contribute to brand development and evolution, helping us tell a more cohesive and compelling story over time.
Balance beauty and performance—designing with an eye for both aesthetics and outcomes.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
3+ years of experience as a brand designer, graphic designer, or visual storyteller—ideally at a high-growth startup, creative agency, or media-forward company.
A portfolio that demonstrates a mastery of layout, typography, and brand systems across both digital and print mediums.
A highly collaborative spirit and ability to operate cross-functionally with stakeholders from marketing, sales, product, and leadership.
An obsession with quality—sweating the details, pushing the work, and continuously leveling up the craft.
Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities and hit deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); bonus points for video, motion, or 3D experience.
Comfort using AI tools for asset generation, ideation, and iteration—whether for speeding up production, exploring variations, or prototyping bold creative ideas.
