The Role
We are hiring a Benelux Account Executive to build and own our presence across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Demandbase already wins business in the region, and the market response has validated the opportunity. The next step is intentional expansion. Your objective is to proactively build pipeline, deepen regional awareness, and accelerate new SaaS logo acquisition. You will operate as the dedicated territory owner, generating opportunity without heavy infrastructure, selling consultatively into sales and marketing leadership, and laying the commercial foundation for long term regional growth.
This role offers greenfield ownership inside a high performing, winning team. We consistently hit and exceed our numbers, compete effectively in a differentiated market with limited direct competition, and are expanding headcount by design, not by replacement. As the first focused rep in Benelux, you gain autonomy, visibility, and leadership runway. As the region scales with future SDR and growth resources, you are positioned to expand scope and influence while building meaningful upside along the way.
Location: preferred location is within the Benelux region (Netherlands or Belgium). Candidates must spend consistent time in region building executive relationships and market presence.
What you’ll do
Own the Territory: Build and execute a proactive territory strategy across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, identifying priority industries, high value accounts, and buying centers across sales and marketing organizations.
Build the Pipeline Engine: Operate without a dedicated SDR at the outset. You will prospect, create, and advance your own opportunities while establishing the long term demand foundation for the region. Within your first two quarters, you will be expected to build a qualified pipeline capable of consistently supporting net new logo acquisition.
Drive Net New Revenue: Close new SaaS business aligned to a ramped first year quota and approximately $1M annual target once fully ramped. Success is defined by new logo acquisition, regional penetration, and measurable pipeline growth.
Sell at the Business Problem Level: Engage VP and C level sales and marketing leaders. Diagnose declining close rates, wasted advertising spend, poor pipeline quality, and lack of visibility into anonymous buying intent. Position Demandbase as a strategic revenue platform rather than a feature tool.
Establish Regional Presence: Represent Demandbase in region by hosting and attending events, building executive relationships, and increasing brand credibility across Benelux.
Who you are
You are a proven SaaS seller who wins new business by uncovering real business problems, not by running standard demos and hoping something sticks.
You understand how modern sales and marketing teams operate. Ideally you have experience in Martech, Sales Tech, ABM, or adjacent revenue technology.
You are inquisitive and commercially minded. You can clearly articulate why a company would invest in a platform like Demandbase and connect it directly to revenue outcomes.
You thrive in entrepreneurial environments where you are expected to create momentum, not inherit it. You are comfortable building pipeline from scratch and do not rely on inbound volume or heavy SDR infrastructure to be successful.
You understand Benelux business culture and ideally speak Dutch and or French fluently. If not based full time in region, you are willing to spend meaningful time on the ground building presence.
You are motivated by ownership, autonomy, and upside. You want to shape a region rather than inherit a fully built territory.
