About the Role
Corporate Development is a critical driver of Iterative Health’s (iH) long-term growth strategy. As transaction activity accelerates in 2026 and beyond, iH is expanding this function to deepen its presence across new therapeutic areas.
As Director, Lead Generation – Cardiology, you will play a central role in expanding iH’s cardiovascular footprint by originating and advancing strategic partnerships with independent cardiology-focused clinical research sites, site networks, and management services organizations (MSOs). This role sits at the front end of iH’s M&A and partnership funnel and directly influences company-shaping growth decisions.
You will report to the VP, Corporate Development and work closely with the iH Executive Team and functional leaders. This position offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to materially shape iH’s cardiovascular growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the expansion of iH’s cardiovascular clinical research site network
- Identify, cultivate, and advance relationships with cardiology site owners, site network leaders, and MSO executives
- Serve as a primary external representative of iH to prospective partners, clearly articulating iH’s value proposition and long-term partnership model
- Engage senior stakeholders (Practice Leaders, CEOs, CFOs, CMOs, and clinical leadership) to position iH as the preferred long-term strategic partner
- Gather, assess, and synthesize information on prospective partners’ clinical research programs, operations, and growth objectives
- Translate stakeholder insights into clear, actionable communications for senior iH leadership
- Support partnership evaluation, diligence, and internal decision-making processes
- Collaborate with the VP, Corporate Development to oversee diligence for prospective acquisitions and co-manage transactions through closing and onboarding
- Establish, track, and report performance metrics related to cardiovascular network expansion and lead-generation effectiveness
- Represent iH at industry conferences, events, and meetings with prospective partners
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in clinical research, healthcare services, or related industries, with a focus on growth, business development or partnerships
- Proven ability to research, develop, and manage, a relationship pipeline of CV practices
- Strong relationships in the cardiovascular provider space
- Highly organized, structured thinker with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple parallel workstreams
- Demonstrated experience scaling organizations or networks through partnerships, affiliations, or acquisitions
- Strong understanding of clinical trial site operations, regulatory considerations, and industry dynamics
- Experience developing and implementing repeatable, scalable processes or playbooks to support growth
New York pay range
$175,000—$220,000 USD
