Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Learning and development roles are often overlooked in SaaS listings, yet they shape how quickly a company can scale skills across functions. This position stands out because it sits inside an evolving L&D function at a major cloud data platform, where internal capability building has direct downstream impact on product delivery, customer outcomes, and operational consistency. The emphasis on AI-native ways of working also signals a modern enablement remit rather than traditional classroom training.
For a SaaS career, the durable value here is learning how to design programs that can reach large, distributed employee populations and still remain measurable and iterative. Ownership of widely accessible, core-skill curricula builds fluency in the operating rhythms of subscription businesses, where cross-functional collaboration, manager effectiveness, and change adoption materially affect retention and execution. The role’s focus on reusable assets and train-the-trainer models aligns with how SaaS organizations standardize practices without slowing teams down.
This role tends to fit an experienced program builder who prefers structured problem-solving, stakeholder partnership, and evidence-based iteration. It suits someone who enjoys translating broad capability needs into practical learning experiences and is comfortable influencing across levels, especially in environments where tooling and approaches are still being defined.

Job Description
At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
Snowflake is building a new and evolving Learning & Development (L&D) function and is seeking a Senior L&D Program Manager to help create meaningful learning experiences for Snowflakes across the company. This role focuses on designing learning experiences that support everyday effectiveness and growth, including skills like communication, collaboration, career navigation, and personal effectiveness. You will own widely accessible programs that help Snowflakes build confidence, strengthen core skills, and navigate important moments in their careers.
This is a builder role for someone who enjoys creating practical, inclusive learning, iterating based on feedback, and balancing thoughtful structure with room to experiment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own the design, delivery, and iteration of learning programs for Snowflakes across the organization, in partnership with other L&D program owners.
Develop programs that build core, transferable skills including soft skills, career development, and employee effectiveness.
Create scalable learning solutions such as self-serve resources, reusable content, and train-the-trainer models that enable partners and facilitators to extend reach.
Partner with People Partners, Talent, and L&D colleagues to ensure a cohesive and well-scoped employee development experience.
Collaborate with content designers and subject matter experts to create clear, practical learning assets.
Use feedback and data to assess effectiveness and continuously improve programs.
Contribute to shared frameworks, standards, and ways of working across the L&D team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
8+ years of progressive experience in developing and implementing learning programs, with a focus on building and iterating on new programs, preferably within a technology company or high-growth environment.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement learning programs in a new or evolving function including experience building manager onboarding or leadership development programs.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and various learning methodologies, with a passion for experimentation.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders across levels.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience as a manager or leading teams.
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technologies
