We are offering an opportunity to become a trusted technical advisor to leading Media & Entertainment OTT customers across the ANZ region. You will operate within Bitmovin’s global GTM and partner framework, executing regional initiatives aligned to overall revenue objectives
This is a high-impact, customer-facing role at the intersection of technology, business value, and revenue growth. You will own and grow strategic customer relationships — driving product adoption, ensuring successful integrations, optimizing media workflows, and identifying expansion and new logo opportunities within the ANZ OTT market.

- Customer Ownership: Act as the primary commercial and technical point of contact for strategic OTT customers in ANZ.
- Technical Depth: Work hands-on with technical stakeholders advising on OTT workflows, solution options and product integration/
- Commercial Impact: Drive product adoption resulting in upsell, cross-sell, expansion, and new customer opportunities.
- Regional Influence: Collaborate with Global and local partners to maximize customer value and market growth, support by our global solutions engineering and product teams.
Your Impact
Operating within the global GTM and partner strategy to define and execute local initiatives; You will make an impact that matters by:
- Serving as the primary technical advisor and internal Bitmovin advocate for assigned Media & Entertainment OTT customers in ANZ and key regional accounts.
- Engaging stakeholders from engineers to C-level executives — diving deep into APIs and integrations while clearly articulating business impact and ROI.
- Driving product adoption and successful onboarding of cloud streaming services.
- Identifying and executing upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities to grow existing customer revenue.
- Identifying and pursuing new logo opportunities within similar Media & Entertainment accounts.
- Leading or supporting integration projects, ensuring smooth implementation aligned with customer workflows.
- Troubleshooting streaming workflows, encoding pipelines, and delivery performance issues.
- Providing best-practice guidance on OTT architectures including live streaming, VOD, CDN integration, DRM, analytics, and API-based automation.
- Collaborating with Product, Support, and Global Partner teams to resolve issues and unlock additional customer value.
- Working with global and local partners to maximize customer success and regional growth opportunities.
- Monitoring customer health metrics and proactively mitigating risks to retention and revenue growth.
- Advocating customer needs internally, influencing product roadmap and feature prioritization.
What can you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in technical account management, customer success, solutions engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
- Experience within OTT, cloud streaming, or media delivery platforms (live, VOD, SaaS) in the Media & Entertainment sector.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and streaming technologies.
- Strong understanding of streaming protocols (HLS, DASH, CMAF), DRM, CDN architectures, and video analytics.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, and supporting customer implementation projects.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Support, and Global Partner teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Experience identifying and working with local partners to drive regional growth.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for executive audiences.
- Confidence engaging both engineering teams and C-level stakeholders.
Preferred experience:
- Experience working with video processing, content delivery, and video streaming platforms.
- Familiarity with video playback QoE / QoS analytics such as Conviva, Mux, Youbora, or similar solutions.
- Scripting or automation skills (Python, Bash).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SaaS customer success practices.
- Current AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or Oracle Cloud “Professional” cloud certification (Solution Architect, Cloud Architect, Cloud Developer, etc.), or “Associate” level certification and the ability to earn a “Professional” certification within 6 months.
