We are seeking aProduct Owner for GCash for Businessto lead the strategy and development of our merchant app store. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business strategy, merchant needs, and the development team. Your mission will be to ensure the app store provides maximum value to its users, aligning with the company’s business goals, while continuously improving the user experience and driving business growth.
You will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing stakeholder alignment, owning the product backlog, and leading agile ceremonies. The role demands a strong understanding of business strategy, user-centric design, and product management, alongside an ability to drive operational efficiency and deliver high-impact results.
You will be responsible for the following:
Define and Communicate Product Vision:Set and articulate a clear vision for the merchant app store, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy and defining the problem it solves for merchants.
Manage Stakeholder Alignment:Act as the primary liaison between the development team and various stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities, progress, and goals.
Own the Product Backlog:Create, refine, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring user stories and features are well-defined and aligned with business goals.
Develop and Maintain Product Roadmap:Translate the product vision into a high-level roadmap, defining key features, initiatives, and milestones for the app store.
Lead Agile Ceremonies:Participate in Agile/Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Provide clarity to the development team and ensure focus on valuable tasks.
Ensure Continuous Development:Identify opportunities to improve user experience, streamline workflows, and introduce new features that drive business growth.
Deliver Key Product Outputs:Produce deliverables such as product roadmaps, user stories with acceptance criteria, business cases for major initiatives, and analytics/performance reports.
