Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Sales Development roles remain a core entry point into how SaaS revenue engines are built, and this one sits within an Enterprise Sales motion at a payments infrastructure provider. That context matters in SaaS because enterprise deals tend to involve longer buying cycles, multiple stakeholders, and a higher premium on qualification quality, making the top of funnel a strategic lever rather than a volume exercise.
For a SaaS career, the work builds durable commercial skills that translate across products and categories: structured prospect research, lead scoring, pipeline hygiene in a CRM, and the handoff mechanics between development and closing. The remit also points to exposure to playbook improvement and market awareness, which are foundational in SaaS environments where messaging, segments, and outreach channels are continuously tested and refined.
This role is best suited to professionals who enjoy methodical outbound work, clear activity management, and collaborating closely with account executives to progress opportunities. It will particularly fit someone who prefers measurable goals, can balance persistence with thoughtful qualification, and wants to deepen enterprise prospecting capabilities within a product-led, recurring-revenue context.
