Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Field Marketing Manager role sits at a common inflection point in SaaS: taking a product-led platform story in observability and translating it into regional demand. With observability increasingly tied to data platforms and AI initiatives, field marketing becomes a connective function between technical value, partner ecosystems, and account priorities. The scope across the West Coast also signals a territory approach where local programs and executive engagement still matter alongside digital channels.
For SaaS marketers, the career upside here is exposure to revenue-adjacent execution that is measurable and repeatable. Owning pipeline goals, building ABM plays, and optimizing programs by ROI are core skills that travel well across B2B SaaS categories, especially where sales cycles are complex and stakeholder groups are technical. The mix of events, partner co-marketing, and cross-functional alignment mirrors how many scaling SaaS companies operationalize go-to-market beyond central demand generation.
This role tends to fit professionals who like tight collaboration with sales leadership and who are comfortable being accountable for outcomes rather than activity. It also suits marketers who enjoy building structure across varied regional programs, balancing vendor logistics with performance analysis, and working in a hybrid rhythm with regular in-office coordination.
