Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
GTM enablement is a leverage point in modern SaaS, especially when product releases and messaging evolve quickly and customer-facing headcount scales in parallel. This onboarding-focused remit sits at the intersection of product context, revenue process, and field execution, translating what the company is building into the behaviors that show up in sales calls and customer conversations. The in-office San Francisco setup also signals a role designed around live facilitation and close alignment with GTM leadership.
For a SaaS career, the durable value here is learning how to operationalize ramp, not just deliver training. Building a predictable onboarding cadence, keeping content current as inputs change, and instrumenting outcomes are core skills that transfer across SaaS segments, from PLG to enterprise sales. The role also reflects a growing SaaS pattern: using AI tooling to personalize learning, shorten iteration cycles, and improve program measurement, which is becoming a baseline expectation in enablement functions.
This is best suited to an enablement practitioner who prefers being “on stage” and is comfortable coaching in real time, not only producing materials. It fits someone who enjoys cross-functional partnering with Sales leadership, RevOps, and SMEs, and who brings an operator’s mindset to logistics, cadence, and continuous improvement.

Job Description
About the company
OpenAI’s mission is to build and ensure that safe artificial general intelligence (AGI) benefits all of humanity. This long-term undertaking brings together the world’s best scientists, engineers, and business professionals to accomplish this.
About the team
The Enablement team translates OpenAI’s product innovation into real-world customer impact by equipping customer-facing teams with the knowledge, tools, and frameworks needed to succeed in their roles.
About the role
OpenAI is hiring a GTM Enablement Manager to lead onboarding delivery for a rapidly scaling, customer-facing GTM organization. This is a high-cadence trainer and facilitator role focused on running in-person onboarding sessions and workshops that accelerate new hires to confident, customer-ready performance. This role is based in San Francisco (in office) with occasional travel to New York City.
In this role, you will:
Deliver a predictable onboarding cadence: live sessions, workshops, and practice that build core GTM behaviors early (discovery, messaging, deal rigor)
Facilitate high-energy, interactive trainings that drive behavior change (role plays, scenarios, rubrics, in-the-moment coaching)
Partner with Sales Leadership, RevOps, Product Enablement, Field Enablement, and SMEs to keep onboarding aligned to current priorities and real field needs
Build a content freshness system so training stays current as products, messaging, and SMEs change (lightweight update loop, changelog, clear inputs/owners)
Instrument onboarding and continuously improve it using simple, durable signals (attendance, satisfaction, confidence lift, early manager feedback, ramp indicators)
Be AI-forward in how you design and deliver enablement, using OpenAI tools to personalize learning, accelerate content iteration, and improve program operations and measurement
You'll thrive in this role if you:
Have strong “on stage” presence and can run the room with confidence, warmth, and clarity, including handling Q&A and skepticism
Have built and delivered sales enablement onboarding or training in a fast-paced environment (enterprise GTM a plus)
Design workshops that are practice-based and outcome-driven, not slide-heavy
Are operationally sharp: you can keep cadence, logistics, comms, and updates humming without heroics
Can translate messy inputs into crisp, teachable moments and repeatable onboarding experiences
Are excited to use AI to level-up enablement, both for the learner experience and for the backend systems that power onboarding
Basic qualifications
Experience facilitating live trainings and workshops for customer-facing GTM audiences
Experience designing onboarding or enablement programs with measurable outcomes
Willingness to work in-office in San Francisco and travel occasionally to NYC
Preferred qualifications
Experience onboarding high-volume hiring cohorts in a high-growth environment
Experience incorporating AI into enablement workflows or learning journeys, with a clear point of view on impact measurement
Familiarity with modern AI products or developer-adjacent selling (learn-fast mindset welcome)
Experience with certifications, rubrics, coaching guides, and manager reinforcement loops
