Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Principal Recruiter remit stands out in SaaS because it sits close to the commercial engine. With the majority of hiring focused on go to market functions across EMEA, the role is tied to how a software business builds coverage, supports revenue teams, and adapts hiring plans to different markets and operating models, including a mix of entities and PEO structures.
For a long term SaaS recruiting career, the value is in developing repeatable playbooks for multi country hiring while staying hands on. The scope implies regular partnership with regional leadership plus HR and Finance, which strengthens the ability to translate headcount plans into executable pipelines and to use systems and automation to improve throughput and data quality. Experience recruiting across Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Post Sales tends to transfer well across SaaS categories because these functions share common patterns in ramp, specialization, and performance signals.
This role is best suited to an experienced recruiter who prefers high autonomy and clear ownership, and who enjoys balancing stakeholder advisory work with closing searches. It will fit someone motivated by cross border complexity and by using ATS and AI enabled tooling as a lever for productivity rather than administration.

Job Description
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Principal Recruiter, EMEA to lead our talent acquisition efforts across Europe and the Middle East, based in the UK, reporting directly to the VP of Global Talent Acquisition. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role designed for a professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy and operation. As our sole TA team member on the ground in the region, you will act as a consultant to EMEA leadership and a hands-on recruiter, managing a portfolio of approximately 30 strategic hires per year.
You will be the primary architect of our regional talent engine, working in lockstep with cross-functional partners in HR and Finance to scale our presence across both established entities and emerging markets.
The Role: Strategist & Operator
-
Regional Ownership: Serve as the dedicated TA partner for EMEA leaders, providing market insights and headcount planning while executing the full-cycle recruitment process.
-
Complex Global Hiring: Manage recruitment across a diverse geographic footprint, including established entities (UK, France, Netherlands, Germany) and PEO structures (Sweden, Spain, Dubai, Saudi Arabia), with an eye toward further expansion.
-
GTM Focus: 90% of your remit will focus on Go-To-Market (GTM) roles across all levels—specifically Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Post-Sales.
-
Cross-Continental Flex: The remaining 10% of roles (EPD/G&A) will be managed collaboratively; you will either lead these locally or partner with AMER recruiters who "flex across the pond" to support regional needs.
-
Tech Stack Mastery: We aren't looking for a tool administrator; we want a Power User. You will dive deep into our ATS and integrate AI recruiting tools to maximize your productivity and speed-to-hire. You are someone who is already AI-fluent or is aggressively becoming so.
Who You Are
-
A Seasoned Expert: You bring 15+ years of experience in recruitment, with demonstrated experience hiring across enterprise software GTM teams. You may be a career individual contributor who has mastered the craft across functions and borders, or a seasoned Manager who prefers to stay "on the tools" and carry an active req load.
-
High Autonomy: You are comfortable "leading from the front." You have the confidence to make decisions independently, the maturity to report upward effectively, and the self-awareness to ask for help when needed.
-
Multi-National Navigator: You have a deep understanding of the EMEA talent landscape, including the legal, cultural, and logistical nuances of hiring in various European and Middle Eastern jurisdictions.
-
Efficiency Obsessed: You leverage technology to do the heavy lifting. You understand how to prompt AI for better sourcing, use automation to reclaim your time, and ensure every tool in the stack is performing at its limit.
Requirements
-
15+ years of recruiting experience in high-growth technology environments.
-
Demonstrated ability to work with high levels of autonomy, managing regional stakeholders and making high-stakes decisions independently.
-
Experience navigating both legal entities and PEO models across EMEA.
-
Deep expertise in GTM recruiting (Sales, SE, Marketing, Post-Sales).
-
High proficiency in ATS management; you know how to navigate these systems to drive data-driven outcomes and maintain high pipeline hygiene.
-
A "Productivity-First" mindset: Experience with (or an aggressive interest in) AI-powered sourcing, screening, or scheduling tools.
-
Strong financial acumen and experience partnering with Finance/HR on compensation and headcount budgeting.
Why This Role?
This role is for the recruiter who loves the "craft" but wants the "context." You will have the autonomy to drive the EMEA talent strategy while maintaining the tactical skills that make you a world-class recruiter. Based in London, you’ll have a direct impact on our regional growth trajectory, working closely with the executive team to build the future of our EMEA business.
