Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Frontend Engineer role stands out in SaaS because it sits at the intersection of product interface design and AI-native application development. The work described is not a traditional dashboard build; it is focused on real-time, collaborative experiences that integrate directly with LLM-powered agents, in a domain where accuracy and trust are central to adoption. The company’s early-access launch timeline and steady stream of shipped AI capabilities signal a SaaS product still being actively shaped, with meaningful surface area for frontend engineering decisions.
For a long-term SaaS career, the role offers exposure to building user-facing systems that translate complex backend intelligence into usable workflows. That kind of experience tends to transfer across modern SaaS categories, especially as more products embed AI into core flows rather than treating it as an add-on. The emphasis on performance, collaboration, and close work with non-engineering partners maps well to how frontend impact is measured in mature SaaS organizations.
This position is best suited to engineers who enjoy product-minded frontend work and can balance craft with pragmatic delivery. It will fit someone comfortable iterating alongside designers and domain experts, and interested in shaping how AI features are presented, controlled, and trusted in day-to-day SaaS usage.

Job Description
Engineering at Ivo
Engineers at Ivo are inventors. Ivo was first-to-market with:
• An AI agent that lives in MS word and edits the document for you [2023]
• Ditching imprecise embeddings models in favor of agentic RAG [2023]
• Large-scale LLM-based legal fact extraction [2024]

• Automatic deviation analysis to locate buried risk in huge contract databases [2025]
• Merging contracts with their amendments to make a time series of “composite” contracts (a customer actually cried when we showed her this) [2025]
Role
Our software delights users, and our Frontend Engineers make that happen.
You’ll work on:
• Crafting a real-time, collaborative AI-enabled interface
• Writing high performance UI code
• Implementing frontend components that integrate directly with LLM-powered agents
• Collaborating with designers, lawyers and other engineers to re-imagine how lawyers work in the AI age
Mission
Every major business has an in-house legal team, and all of those lawyers are overworked. 80 hour weeks, tight deadlines and contract-reading death marches are the industry norm. Up until recently, there wasn’t anything technology could do to help this situation.
LLMs have given us the ability to give these lawyers their lives back, and at Ivo, that’s our mission.
We’re building an AI-native platform to automate legal drudgery. People love our software - despite high competition, we have the highest trial win rate on the market (85%). We’re genuinely improving people’s lives, and we’re only just getting started.
