Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This SDET II role sits at the intersection of SaaS delivery and applied AI, focused on validating conversational products used in enterprise customer experience. In the current SaaS landscape, agentic and no code platforms introduce new quality risks around model behavior, integrations, and real world variability, making QA a core product competency rather than a final gate. Work on AI driven CX software also tends to surface edge cases that traditional web testing does not, particularly where responses are probabilistic and accuracy is part of the user experience.
From a SaaS career perspective, the remit builds durable strengths in test strategy, API level validation, and automation with scripting, alongside the emerging discipline of evaluating model quality. Experience translating detailed testing feedback into improvements for AI models is especially portable across modern SaaS teams adopting LLM features, where QA increasingly includes data quality awareness and workflow design for AI assisted tooling.
The role is best suited to an SDET who prefers hands on ownership across manual and automated approaches, and who enjoys collaborating across multiple teams to raise quality standards. It will fit someone comfortable working with ambiguity in AI outputs and motivated by iterative refinement of product behavior in production like environments.
