Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Executive Assistant role sits at an increasingly important intersection for subscription platforms: Trust and Safety, and Government Affairs. For SaaS and other at-scale digital services, these functions shape how products are governed, how policies are interpreted, and how external scrutiny is managed. Supporting senior leaders in these areas offers a close view into the operational backbone that helps platform decisions translate into defensible processes.
From a SaaS career standpoint, the work builds fluency in cross-functional coordination where priorities shift based on incidents, regulatory developments, and stakeholder needs. Managing complex schedules across time zones, preparing decision-ready materials, and tracking follow-ups are practical skills that transfer across SaaS leadership teams. Exposure to sensitive information handling and special projects also develops judgment that becomes valuable in roles supporting senior operators across product, legal, and policy-adjacent domains.
This position is best suited to an experienced EA who prefers high-trust partnerships and structured execution, while staying calm amid changing inputs. It will fit someone who enjoys connecting workstreams, maintaining strong internal relationships, and representing leaders professionally with external partners. The hybrid setup in Washington, D.C. signals a role that benefits from in-person coordination alongside focused independent work.
