Company Description
BlueOptima gives CIOs, CTOs and CFOs objective, code-level visibility into software productivity, AI ROI, and engineering cost. This is a problem that until recently could not be measured at all. With AI-generated code now flowing into enterprise codebases at scale, that measurement gap has become a board-level priority.

The business is profitable, bootstrapped, and 20 years deep in enterprise relationships. You inherit real accounts with real expansion potential, not a cold list. We are at an inflection point: AI governance has shifted this from a productivity conversation to a risk and compliance one, and the budgets have followed.
Job Description
We are looking for a high-impact Senior Technical Product Manager who excels at both the "building" and the “selling” (enterprise and PLG). This is a role requiring traditional PM rigor—managing requirements, execution, and stakeholder alignment—combined with a proactive Go-To-Market (GTM) mindset. Alongside building, you will be responsible for driving agency in our sales process, pitching the product externally, and leading customer pilots to success.
Beyond enterprise execution, you will own a core part of our PLG product, driving organic growth through a developer-first product strategy. This isn't just about features; it’s about owning real commercial outcomes by collaborating deeply with Design, Product, and Marketing to optimize the user journey. You will bridge the gap between technical capability and business value, ensuring our platform’s self-serve experience converts trial users into long-term advocates.
This is initially a fixed term contract, with the prospect of expanding into a permanent position, owning one of our key product lines.
Qualifications
1. Product Management & Execution
- Requirement Management: Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog based on deep security domain expertise and customer feedback.
- Execution: Work closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of features.
- Status Reporting: Provide clear, concise reporting on product execution, health, risks, and milestones to senior leadership.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the central hub between engineering, GTM teams and executive leadership to ensure a unified product vision.
2. GTM & Customer Agency
- External Pitching: Actively participate in external customer meetings to pitch the product's value proposition specifically within the SSCS and AppSec landscape.
- Pilot Ownership: Drive the technical and strategic success of customer pilots, with a clear view toward conversion and winning new business.
- Market Feedback Loop: Translate direct customer interactions from the field back into actionable product requirements.
3. PLG Motion & Commercial Growth
- Platform Growth Strategy: Lead the development and optimization of our PLG strategy, driving organic user acquisition and expansion through a developer-first product experience.
- Cross-Functional Commercial Ownership: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Design and Marketing to own real commercial outcomes, ensuring the "self-serve" journey is frictionless and high-value.
- Conversion Optimization: Analyze user behavior and platform metrics to bridge the gap between initial technical interest and enterprise-wide adoption, turning individual developers into internal product champions.
