Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Homebase is a product-led SaaS serving small businesses, and this role sits in the part of the org where subscription companies tend to win or lose: turning product usage into sustained revenue. The remit spans funnel clarity, experimentation, and internal data products, which signals a mature approach to growth analytics rather than one-off reporting.
For a SaaS analytics career, the standout value is breadth across the full path from activation to monetization, plus the chance to formalize how teams measure impact. Work that connects product telemetry with go-to-market performance builds durable skills in metric governance, causal inference through testing, and decision support for cross-functional leaders. The emphasis on self-serve assets also maps to a common SaaS evolution, moving from analyst-as-service to scalable data products that reduce ad hoc demand.
This position is best suited to an experienced analyst who prefers ownership over a defined domain and enjoys influencing through frameworks and narrative, not just queries. It fits someone comfortable partnering with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and RevOps, and who takes satisfaction in improving how an organization runs experiments, interprets results, and operationalizes insights into repeatable systems.

Job Description
Hi, Future Homie!
At Homebase, you’ll join a team that’s bold, fast-moving, and obsessed with helping small businesses thrive. We build with empathy, act with urgency, and take big swings that drive real-world impact. Here, every Homie shows up to raise the bar, support one another, and celebrate wins as a team.
We’re not just building an app—we’re building unstoppable teams. So what do you say, are you in?
📍Your Impact Starts Here
We’re looking for a Lead Growth Analyst who’s passionate about using data, experimentation, and automation to shape the future of Product-Led Growth at Homebase. You’ll play a critical role in accelerating product growth and broader revenue generation, driving clarity across funnels, and building the internal data products that empower every team to make faster, smarter decisions.
This is a high-impact opportunity to lead experimentation strategy, connect product and go-to-market data, and create self-serve tools that unlock scale. You’ll collaborate with partners across Product Growth, Marketing, Lifecycle, Engineering, and RevOps to design experiments, model business impact, and tell stories with data that influence where we focus next.
If you love turning complexity into leverage – through systems, experiments, and clear narratives – this is your chance to lead that evolution.
These are the key ways you’ll contribute and create impact in this role:
Lead and elevate experimentation practices within the growth org – empowering PMs through coaching on hypothesis framing, experiment design, metrics, and interpretation, while delivering rigorous A/B test insights that improve activation, conversion, and monetization.
Model expected KPI impact and ROI to prioritize the most valuable experiments and initiatives.
Build and maintain a clear, consistent growth metric framework across the funnel, ensuring data definitions stay accurate and reliable across Product and GTM.
Proactively identify growth opportunities and leading indicators – surface trends, risks, or untapped segments before they appear in dashboards.
Build internal data products and self-serve assets (dashboards, metric layers, notebooks, or apps) that empower teams to explore data independently and reduce ad hoc requests.
Translate complex insights into concise, actionable recommendations for executives and business stakeholders.
Partner with Revenue and GTM leaders to connect product engagement data to marketing and sales performance – creating a true end-to-end growth view.
Champion AI-assisted analytics – automate manual workflows, accelerate analysis, and share best practices for AI-enabled decision-making across the org.
Ensure instrumentation and tracking integrity through close collaboration with data engineering peers.
Coach other analysts on experiment design, statistical rigor, and storytelling best practices.
🚀 The Foundation for Success - These are the experiences and strengths that will set you up for success in this role:
6–8 years of experience in analytics, analytics engineering, or data science roles with measurable business impact; at least 2 years operating at a senior or lead level.
Advanced SQL skills and experience with modern analytics stacks (dbt, Databricks/Snowflake, Looker, Tableau, or Thoughtspot).
Experience designing and interpreting A/B or multivariate tests, including statistical power and significance frameworks.
Proficiency in Python or R for analysis and experimentation workflows.
Ability to model business impact, quantify opportunities, and prioritize by expected ROI.
Strong experience building scalable, self-serve analytics tools (dashboards, reusable notebooks, or metric layers).
Exceptional communication and storytelling – able to translate complex data into executive-ready insights and influence decision-making.
Experience working across Product, Marketing, and GTM teams in a high-growth SaaS or subscription environment.
Demonstrated AI fluency – leveraging AI tools to accelerate workflows, increase analysis velocity, and enable others to do the same.
Self-starter mindset, ownership mentality, and the ability to balance speed with analytical rigor.
🤝 The Homie Way - These principles guide everything we do—from how we work and make decisions to how we show up for each other.
💡 Be Customer Obsessed – Solve problems with empathy and creativity.
⚡ Move Fast, Learn Fast – Experiment, take action, and grow every day.
🎯 Own Your Impact – Think big, focus on what matters, and make decisions you stand behind.
🏆 Master Your Craft – Excellence fuels impact—show up, step up, and make your mark.
🏅 Win Together – Put goals over roles, lead with trust, and connect to our mission and each other.
