Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Sales Development sits at the front edge of SaaS revenue, and this role is positioned in a product category that is increasingly relevant to modern go to market teams: AI driven video for business communication. With Synthesia operating at enterprise scale and referencing recent late stage funding, the SDR function here is likely to be tightly connected to defined demand channels, structured qualification, and clear handoffs into an Account Executive motion.
For a SaaS career, SDR roles build durable foundations in pipeline mechanics that translate across PLG and sales led models. The work spans inbound qualification, multi channel outreach, and the operational discipline of tracking activity in a CRM, all of which map directly to later paths in account executive, growth, revenue operations, or customer success. Exposure to how marketing campaigns convert into meetings also helps build an end to end view of the funnel.
This role best fits someone who prefers measurable work, consistent prospecting habits, and frequent customer conversations. It also suits early career professionals who want to learn modern prospecting tools and develop strong written and phone communication in a quota carrying environment, with an in office cadence in Austin.
