Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Manager, Solution Engineering Enablement role sits at a critical junction in enterprise SaaS: translating product and go to market change into field capability that reliably shows up in customer conversations. In a platform business like Snowflake, where solution engineering is central to adoption, the enablement function becomes a system for scaling technical storytelling, demos, and discovery patterns across regions.
From a SaaS career perspective, the work builds durable operating skills that travel well across high growth software organizations. It emphasizes designing repeatable programs, using data signals from tools like CRM and conversation intelligence, and measuring behavior change rather than activity. Managing enablement business partners also develops a leader’s ability to set governance, run an intake and prioritization model, and align stakeholders across Product, Field leadership, and Enablement around a release cadence.
The role is best suited to professionals who enjoy operating as a strategic partner while still building practical mechanisms that teams adopt. It will fit someone comfortable coaching managers and senior contributors, and who prefers influence and systems building over direct selling, with a clear interest in how technical SaaS teams scale execution globally.

Job Description
At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
Snowflake is seeking a Senior Manager, Solution Engineering Enablement, to lead a team serving as the enablement business partners for our Solution Engineering organization.
Embedded within key leadership teams, you and your team will accelerate field capability tied to business outcomes, owning how Solution Engineers build and apply skills at scale. You will set the strategy for translating business priorities into capability programs, while coaching your team to design systems that make the field more effective in the moments that matter most.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO:
Lead and develop a team of Enablement Business Partners, setting direction, prioritization, and operating rhythm to ensure high-impact delivery aligned to regional and global SE priorities
Act as the senior strategic enablement partner to SE leadership, guiding your team in diagnosing skill gaps tied to business outcomes, prescribing targeted interventions, and measuring true capability change across the field
Establish team-level frameworks for identifying, prioritizing, and addressing field capability gaps using data signals (Gong, Salesforce, theater analytics, leadership input, product roadmap changes, etc.)
Oversee the design and execution of activation experiences across modalities (hands-on labs, AI-driven learning, peer learning, coaching systems), ensuring your team focuses on behavior change and business impact—not just completion metrics
Set standards for content quality and governance: ensure your team curates, validates, and maintains high-quality enablement assets, including responsible use of AI-generated content and clear sources of truth across domains
Serve as the escalation point and connector across Product, Field, Leadership, and Enablement, ensuring alignment to release cadence and business priorities while removing obstacles for your team
Build strong relationships with regional SE leadership and position yourself—and your team—as trusted members of the extended leadership team
Scale successful local enablement initiatives across regions by establishing repeatable frameworks, capturing best practices, and operationalizing distribution across the broader organization
Drive operational excellence across the team, including intake management, prioritization, resource allocation, and measurement of impact
REQUIRED SKILLS:
10+ years of related experience in enterprise software, with deep exposure to solution engineering, technical sales, or enablement in the data space
3+ years of people management experience, including coaching and developing high-performing teams
Bachelor’s degree
Exceptional business, technical, and sales acumen, with the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
Strong technical foundation in databases (OLAP/OLTP), SQL, and/or Python
Snowflake experience, SnowPro certifications, or equivalent data platform expertise is a plus
Experience with data science, Spark, or modern data stack technologies is a plus
Proven ability to design and scale enablement programs through others, not just direct execution
Strong leadership through influence, with the ability to establish executive sponsorship and align diverse stakeholders
Ability to operate in a fast-changing environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining high standards for quality and impact
Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
Highly organized, with strong program management and decision-making capabilities
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
