Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This role sits at a SaaS-like intersection of platform governance, product evolution, and external regulation, where policy becomes part of the operating system of the product. As podcasts expand into video and new monetization models, the work reflects a broader SaaS trend: building scalable rules and enforcement mechanisms that keep marketplaces and creator platforms trustworthy while still enabling growth.
For a long-term SaaS career, the value is in learning how to translate ambiguous risk areas into frameworks that can be implemented in software and operations. The remit touches AI disclosure, integrity, enforcement workflows, and measurement, offering experience that transfers across subscription platforms, creator tools, and other user-generated content products. It also builds fluency in cross-functional decision-making, where Product, Legal, Trust and Safety, and Communications must align on what “good” looks like and how it is maintained over time.
This is best suited to professionals who prefer shaping systems over handling one-off issues, and who are comfortable balancing principle with practical implementation. It favors a working style that enjoys stakeholder orchestration, clear program ownership, and communicating policy in ways that product teams and external partners can act on.
