Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Product Manager role sits at the intersection of two major SaaS shifts: AI becoming a first class product surface and revenue platforms evolving into systems of record and action. With Gong positioning an in app assistant as a cross platform capability, the work reflects a mature SaaS environment where product decisions must account for enterprise scale, trust, and workflow adoption across multiple teams.
For a SaaS product leader, the career value is in learning how to turn agentic AI from a feature into a dependable platform layer. That includes navigating ambiguity in real customer workflows, designing conversational experiences that hold up across contexts, and partnering closely with engineering, data, security, and go to market stakeholders. Experience in this kind of product domain tends to transfer well to other SaaS companies building automation, permissions, integrations, and workflow systems.
The role is best suited to a seasoned PM who prefers owning an end to end product area and is comfortable making tradeoffs between innovation and operational reliability. It will appeal to professionals motivated by complex coordination, platform thinking, and shipping AI assisted experiences to enterprise users rather than focusing on a single narrow feature set.
