A little about us
incident.io is the AI software reliability platform trusted by engineering teams at Notion, Linear, Ramp and 2,000+ companies who can't afford downtime.
The stakes are real, the talent is insane, and somehow it's a genuinely lovely place to work. We all pull our weight, go the extra mile, and put in the bit of magic most companies don't have time for, all while having fun and never taking ourselves too seriously.
We've raised $100+ million from Index Ventures, Insight Partners, and Point Nine, and we're growing fast. There's never been a better time to join.
The role in one line
We're looking for ridiculously smart, ambitious grads who want to break into the startup world. No experience needed. Just serious drive, great instincts, and an appetite to build something big.
What that looks like day to day
If you want to get into startups, this is your foot in the door.
This role sits under our Talent team in SF, working closely with our founders and leaders to find the insane people who will help us build incident.io.
Talent is one of the few roles where you get to work across the entire business. You'll get a front-row seat to how a startup scales, and help us build one of the best teams in the world.
We're growing fast in SF, and we need to find insane talent to make it happen.
We're not a team that posts jobs and waits for applications. We're out hunting for exceptional people, building relationships, throwing events, dreaming up crazy campaigns, and finding creative ways to get incident.io on the map.
You'll have loads of ownership from day one, learn from some of the smartest people around, and get exposure to pretty much every part of building a company.
And where you take it from there is up to you. Talent is an incredible platform for a career in startups, whether you want to become a world-class recruiter, move into another part of the business, or eventually build something of your own.
Who you are
You're ridiculously driven. You've got big ambitions, you work hard, and you're willing to do what it takes to get there.
You're a builder. You've started things, created things, made things happen. Maybe that's a business, a side project, a university society, or something completely different.
You're seriously smart. You learn fast, ask great questions, and figure things out quickly.
You make things happen. You don't need someone telling you what to do. You're resourceful, proactive, and find a way to get things done.
You're great with people. You're confident, curious, and can build relationships with just about anyone.
You've got big ideas. You're creative, think differently, and love trying things nobody else has thought of.
We don't care what you studied or whether you've ever worked in startups. We're looking for people with exceptional potential.
Maybe you've built an app, started a business, organised an event, or done something completely unrelated that shows you've got serious drive.
If you're hungry, ambitious, and want to throw yourself into the startup world, we want to hear from you.
Supporting you
We work hard and we think life outside work matters just as much. Our benefits pack is built to support both.
Market-leading private medical insurance. The proper kind, so you're never weighing up your health against a bill.
Competitive PTO. Showing up at your best requires switching off, and we make sure you have time to do that.
First Friday of every month off. Yes, seriously.
Enhanced 401k. We put real money in, because future-you deserves better than an afterthought.
Meaningful equity. We're rapidly scaling, and everyone who helps shape the outcome should share in it.
Unlimited AI spend. For everyone, not just engineers. We're all-in on AI across the company, and we expect you to be too.
Generous parental leave. The early days with a new baby matter more than anything we're doing here, and we want you to be present for them.
Two budgets that have your back. $1000 to invest in your setup, $500 a year to invest in yourself.
