About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Federal Account Executive based in the DMV region. This person will be responsible for driving new business within the U.S. Federal government sector. This role requires deep understanding of federal cybersecurity requirements, contracting vehicles, government procurement regulations, and the unique constraints and priorities of federal agencies. The Account Executive will own the full sales cycle for federal clients, build relationships with key decision-makers and procurement authorities, and collaborate internally to deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions that meet agency needs
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory/government-account plan focused on achieving annual revenue and growth targets within the federal market.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, solution design, pricing, proposal development, negotiations, and closing.
- Drive pipeline generation through proactive outreach to federal agencies, attendance at federal contracting events, partner collaboration, and leveraging federal procurement vehicles.
- Lead responses to RFPs / RFIs / RFQs, working closely with capture management, bid teams, and proposal writers to ensure compliant, competitive submissions
