Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This role stands out in SaaS because it sits at the intersection of experimental R&D and real-world adoption. Positioned within a Labs function, it focuses on translating prototypes and emerging capabilities into credible technical narratives—work that often determines whether new platform ideas become understood, trialed, and integrated by engineering-led buyers. The emphasis on demos, webinars, and customer implementation stories signals a product-led, developer-facing motion common in enterprise SaaS.
For a SaaS career, the value is in building a repeatable “translation layer” between product engineering depth and market comprehension. Producing technical content tied to configuration, integrations, and architecture develops durable skills across DevRel, solutions engineering, and technical marketing. Close collaboration with Product, Engineering, R&D, and Customer Success also provides a broad view of how SaaS teams align messaging with actual capabilities and constraints.
The role is best suited to professionals who enjoy being hands-on with both technology and communication—someone comfortable moving from lab-grade concepts to practical walkthroughs without losing accuracy. It fits a profile that prefers cross-functional work, is energized by public-facing delivery (on-camera and in-person), and can engage directly with customers to surface implementation details that resonate with technical audiences.

Job Description
Bring groundbreaking prototypes to life through compelling technical storytelling
Have you ever wanted to turn complex, cutting-edge technology into stories that spark curiosity and real engineering insight? This role is all about showcasing the latest innovations from Coveo Labs to a deeply technical audience through video, demos, and authentic customer stories. You’ll bridge experiment and adoption, crafting content that helps engineers understand not just what we’re building, but how it truly works.
You’ll join Coveo Labs, our experimental R&D arm, and become the on-camera and in-person voice of prototypes, features, and technical use cases. If you love explaining advanced concepts, building demos, capturing customer stories, and making technology accessible without oversimplifying it, this role is made for you.
As our Technical Evangelist, Lab & Video Specialist, you will:
Produce and deliver technical content videos, live demos, webinars, tutorials aimed at engineers, architects, and DevOps teams.
Manage end-to-end video production: studio setup, cameras, lighting, capture workflows, remote recordings. Our marketing team will take care of the edit.
Create customer technical stories that highlight real configurations, architectures, challenges, and solutions.
Showcase Coveo Labs prototypes and new features, demonstrating how to configure, extend, and integrate them.
Collaborate across Product, Engineering, R&D, and Customer Success to translate deep concepts into clear, accurate narratives.
Represent Coveo Labs at demos, events, conferences, and technical forums.
Here is what will qualify you for the role:
Strong technical foundation (engineering or equivalent) with experience in cloud software, machine learning, search/relevance, and integrations.
Comfortable on-camera, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
Skilled at translating deep technical topics into accurate, accessible content for technical audiences.
Experience working directly with customers to document technical implementations and lessons learned.
Fluently Bilingual in French and English.
Willingness to travel.
What would make you stand out:
5+ years in technical evangelism, developer relations, technical content creation, or product-focused demo roles.
Hands-on experience in end-to-end video production: studio workflows, editing, lighting, live streaming, remote capture.
Background in enterprise SaaS, AI/ML, search, or developer tooling.
A natural storyteller with curiosity, empathy, and a camera-ready presence.
Do you think you can bring this role to life? Or add your own color? You don’t need to check every single box; passion goes a long way and we appreciate that skillsets are transferable.
