About the Role
We’re building something new, and we’re looking for an exceptional individual to join as our Founding Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Sydney. This is a unique opportunity to become a key pillar of our ANZ go-to-market team, helping us build and scale our presence in a high-potential region.
You won’t just be an SDR, you’ll be our first SDR in ANZ, and that means you’ll play a critical role in shaping our early market success, driving outreach strategies, and becoming a trusted partner to our sales and marketing teams. This role requires someone hungry, coachable, and committed to excellence, someone with a beginner’s mindset but a proven record of delivering results, whether that’s in sales or another transferable field.
We don’t expect you to have done this exact job before , what we care about is your ability to learn fast, adapt quickly, and take initiative. You’ll be supported by an incredible leadership team and a collaborative group of sales partners, but you must be comfortable taking the lead on your own success.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the first point of contact for prospective customers in the ANZ region, initiating conversations and setting the tone for the sales journey.
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities for our Account Executive team.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and leadership to align on outreach strategies and messaging.
- Take ownership of your region, running outbound campaigns, attending industry events, and becoming the face of the brand in-market.
- Constantly iterate on outreach, experimenting with new ideas and sharing learnings with the broader team.
- Use tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, and others to manage your workflow efficiently.
About You
- Based in Aus, working in a hybrid setup that includes regular collaboration time in a co-working space.
- You’ve crushed goals before , maybe in sales, maybe in sports, maybe in a different hustle , and you know how to turn ambition into outcomes.
- You’re curious, coachable, and love to figure things out , you thrive when you’re out of your comfort zone.
- You’re self-starting and confident navigating ambiguity , comfortable in taking the lead and driving your own success.
- You love talking to people, asking great questions, and turning insights into action.
