Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Content Partnerships Manager role sits at the intersection of platform distribution and rights-driven content, a recurring theme in subscription and usage-based SaaS ecosystems. With Spotify scaling its audiobooks publisher network across Europe and Latin America, the work reflects a mature platform expanding supply-side depth, where partner strategy directly influences catalogue availability, regional performance, and the end-user experience.
For a SaaS career, the role builds durable expertise in managing multi-stakeholder commercial systems rather than one-off deals. It offers practice in using analytics to guide partner plans, balancing unit economics with long-term platform health, and translating external partner constraints into internal product and operational priorities. That combination is portable across SaaS businesses that rely on marketplaces, integrations, or content ecosystems, where growth depends on structured partnerships and clear operating rhythms.
The position will suit professionals who prefer ownership of a defined portfolio and enjoy navigating licensing, performance reviews, and cross-functional decision-making. It fits someone comfortable switching between relationship leadership and quantitative work, and who values influencing how a platform works in practice through collaboration with product, growth, editorial, and operations teams.
