Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This role stands out in SaaS because it treats the website as a product surface within a product-led growth revenue motion, not just a brand destination. Working on core entry points like navigation and conversion flows ties day-to-day decisions directly to how a self-serve SaaS business captures and qualifies demand. The tooling mix also reflects modern SaaS growth stacks, where CMS agility, experimentation, and analytics sit alongside design systems and structured delivery.
For someone building a SaaS marketing career, the emphasis on experimentation and measurable outcomes builds durable skills in funnel diagnosis, hypothesis design, and iteration cycles. The cross-functional partnering across product marketing, demand gen, brand, product, and analytics mirrors how mature SaaS organizations run growth, creating familiarity with shared metrics and stakeholder alignment. Hands-on ownership in a CMS environment also develops the operator mindset valued in PLG teams, where speed and precision matter more than large campaign launches.
This position fits professionals who prefer data-informed decision making and enjoy balancing UX sensibility with commercial impact. It will suit marketers comfortable shipping changes directly, documenting requirements, and learning through test results rather than opinion. It is also a strong match for those aiming to deepen specialization in CRO and web-led acquisition within B2B SaaS.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.
Job Description
From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About the Role
Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We’re looking for a Web Marketing Manager to join our Web team within the Product-Led Growth (PLG) Revenue organization. This is an individual contributor role focused on experimentation and web page optimization. You will help run our website as a core growth surface and measurable revenue driver.
You will own and continuously improve core web surfaces on fivetran.com like the Homepage and Navigation. You will partner cross-functionally to align business objectives with web best practices and high-velocity execution. This role requires a keen eye for the user experience, an analytical skill set, and a strong eagerness to learn, test, and iterate quickly.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Denver office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
Technologies You’ll Use
What You’ll Do
-
Own and continuously optimize high-impact surfaces on fivetran.com (ex: Homepage, Navigation, Interactive Demo, key conversion flows) to drive measurable improvements in conversion rates.
-
Own and optimize the Website Chat as a high-impact growth channel.
-
Execute a structured experimentation program: identifying opportunities to optimize through data, writing briefs to design the test, and analyzing performance.
-
Translate web data and user behavior into clear insights and actionable recommendations that improve funnel performance and UX. Partner closely with Web Design to translate website plans into designed experiences.
-
Work directly in Webflow to ship updates quickly, including page edits, UX improvements, and copy changes. Work with our web developer to build more complex experiences.
-
Write clear and actionable business requirement documents (BRDs) for web initiatives to align stakeholders on goals, milestones, and success metrics.
-
Partner closely with Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Brand, and Product to execute GTM priorities on the website.
Skills We’re Looking For
-
Experience optimizing web experiences that drive measurable business outcomes (trial signups and demo requests that ultimately increase ARR).
-
Strong experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and experimentation, including designing and analyzing A/B tests.
-
Hands-on experience working in CMS platforms like Webflow (or similar), with a willingness to jump in and make changes directly without extensive development support.
-
Strong understanding of user experience principles, with the ability to identify friction and take action to improve it.
-
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, influencing and collaborating with teams across Marketing, Product, Analytics, and Brand.
-
Proficiency in Google Analytics with experience translating data into actionable insights.
-
Bias for action and strong organization skills: you move fast and prioritize sharply. You have an inbox-zero personality.
-
Curiosity and growth-orientation: you actively seek feedback, test new ideas, and continuously look for ways to improve.
Bonus Skills
-
Work experience in PLG-driven growth environments
-
Experience working directly with web development
-
Experience managing localization vendors and workflows
-
Experience with user testing tools and user research
