Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Product Marketing Lead role stands out in SaaS because it sits at the intersection of platform positioning and enterprise go to market for an AI driven CX product. The scope spans both a core platform narrative and product line messaging, which is increasingly important in SaaS categories where buyers evaluate suites, integrations, and differentiated workflows rather than single features.
From a career perspective, the remit builds durable SaaS product marketing range: translating technical capabilities into customer outcomes, running end to end launches, and shaping pricing and packaging alongside Product and leadership. The emphasis on sales enablement assets and analyst relationships also signals exposure to the full B2B SaaS influence chain, from field adoption to market perception, which tends to compound across future platform and category roles.
This is best suited to a senior PMM who prefers operating as a strategic generalist with strong editorial standards and comfort steering cross functional work. It will appeal to someone who enjoys ambiguous problem spaces, can represent the buyer and competitive landscape credibly, and is motivated by building repeatable marketing systems rather than only executing campaigns.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.
Job Description
Product Marketing Lead (L5)
Remote, Full time
Level AI is redefining what contact centers can do. Our full-stack AI platform gives CX teams the intelligence to understand every conversation, close the loop on quality, and continuously improve, not just report on what happened, but change what happens next. We work with some of the most demanding enterprise CX operations in the world, and we're growing fast.
Level AI is a hyper-growth, Series C, Silicon Valley-based startup backed by Battery Ventures. We’ve assembled a seasoned team with leaders from organizations such as Amazon, Facebook, Google, Uber and others.
What you’ll own:
-
Platform-level and product-line positioning across Level AI's platform and AI core, developed in close partnership with Product and executive leadership
-
End-to-end GTM for product launches, including launch readiness, pricing & packaging, campaign development, internal enablement and external rollout
-
Develop content for customers, prospects, advocates and channels partners including emails, blogs, webinar content, uses cases/customer stories, and more.
-
Be Level AI expert and thought leader that can speak to the customer needs, the industry trends, and other players in the market.
-
The core sales content library: battlecards, decks, one-pagers, objection handling, and demo frameworks, built in partnership with Revenue and iterated based on what the field needs
-
Analyst relationships: briefings, inquiry prep, and contribution to major evaluations with Gartner, Forrester, and emerging CX-focused coverage
-
A small team of IC PMMs, setting direction, maintaining quality, and building a repeatable, high-output function
What we’re looking for:
-
7–10+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing, with at least 2 years managing or leading PMM teams
-
Experience marketing complex, technical platforms to enterprise buyers. Bonus points if past experience in CX, AI, or adjacent categories
-
Exceptional writer and editor; you have a point of view on what good messaging looks like and can defend it
-
Demonstrated track record of cross-functional influence: you've led launches, driven analyst outcomes, and built sales artifacts that actually get used
-
Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where you'll be defining process as much as executing against it
-
Familiarity with analyst relations mechanics (briefings, RFIs, inquiry strategy) is a strong plus
-
Prior experience in a competitive or high-stakes category displacement context is a plus
What’s in it for you:
-
You'll shape how a breakout AI company is understood in a market that's actively being redefined
-
Direct line to executive leadership and meaningful influence on product and GTM strategy
-
A team and function to build
-
Competitive compensation, equity, and the opportunity to do career-defining work
You'll thrive here if:
-
You do your best work when you're building the playbook, not following one.
-
You create momentum rather than wait for it; high agency is your default mode
-
You're genuinely comfortable sitting in the unknown. Some of the most important questions here don't have clean answers yet, and you find that interesting
-
You're an effective remote operator who can build trust, move fast, and stay aligned without needing to be in the same room
Compensation: We offer market-leading compensation, based on the skill set and aptitude of the candidate.
