Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Director, Growth Marketing role stands out in SaaS because it sits at the intersection of self-serve revenue and multi-product expansion. The remit spans the full online funnel, from acquisition channels to conversion on the corporate site and lifecycle programs, which reflects how modern SaaS companies increasingly treat marketing as an owned revenue engine rather than a lead source. The inclusion of SEO alongside AEO also signals a shift toward search behavior influenced by AI surfaces, a growing concern for SaaS demand capture.
For a SaaS career, the role offers durable experience in operating a measurable growth system: forecasting, CAC tradeoffs, attribution, and experimentation tied directly to revenue outcomes. It also provides cross-functional exposure typical of scaled SaaS organizations, partnering with Product on PLG lifecycle, and with RevOps and Finance on investment decisions. The scope across two product lines adds practice in adapting growth strategy to different segments without changing the underlying operating model.
This position fits a senior operator who prefers clear accountability, enjoys combining strategy with hands-on channel judgment, and is comfortable making decisions with imperfect data. It will appeal to leaders who want to build teams and governance around experimentation, while staying close to the mechanics of performance, lifecycle, and web conversion in B2B SaaS.

Job Description
About the team/role
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Senior Director, Growth Marketing will own and scale Checkr's online revenue engine across Checkr Workforce and Checkr Mortgage at a pivotal moment in the company's growth. You'll set strategy and deliver results across the full self-serve funnel — paid media, affiliate, SEO/AEO, lifecycle, and Checkr.com as a conversion asset — while building and leading a high-performing growth team. You'll partner closely with Product, RevOps, Finance, and Operations to align growth investment with company priorities and accelerate revenue across our newest and fastest-growing product lines.
What you’ll do
- Serve as DRI for online revenue across Checkr Workforce and Checkr Mortgage — set the strategy, own the forecast, and deliver against quarterly revenue targets
- Build and scale Checkr's paid media program (search, social, display, retargeting) and affiliate program; allocate investment across channels to optimize CAC and pipeline contribution
- Own Checkr.com as a growth and conversion asset, leading a disciplined experimentation program across landing pages, pricing, and signup flows
- Define and operate PLG lifecycle marketing for Checkr Workforce and Checkr Mortgage — onboarding, activation, and expansion — in close partnership with Product
- Set Checkr's SEO and AEO strategy to grow organic traffic and ensure Checkr surfaces in AI-driven search results, featured snippets, and large language model outputs
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing growth team; partner across Product, RevOps, Finance, and Operations to align growth initiatives with company objectives
What you bring
- 15+ years of growth or performance marketing experience
- Proven track record of delivering revenue targets in B2B SaaS with a self-serve or PLG motion (required)
- Deep multi-channel expertise across paid media, SEO/AEO, affiliate, and lifecycle marketing — able to set strategy and hold internal teams and external partners accountable on execution
- Experience owning a corporate website as a growth asset, with fluency in experimentation, attribution modeling, and analytics tools (Salesforce, Google Analytics, Omni, or equivalent)
- Excellent executive presence with the ability to translate complex data into clear narratives for senior stakeholders; experience in fintech, HR tech, or compliance is a plus
- An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.
