About Clay
Our mission is to help organizations turn any growth idea into reality.
We see growth as a creative practice, not a formula. Finding and reaching your best-fit customers takes unique ideas and constant iteration. As AI makes execution faster and tactics easier to copy, creativity is the only lasting advantage. We're already helping thousands of customers — including Anthropic, Notion, Google, and Ramp — go to market with unique data, signals, and AI research.
In 2025, we raised a $100M Series C backed by world-class investors including Sequoia, CapitalG, and First Round — and crossed $100M in revenue.
In 2026, we announced our second employee tender offer in 9 months at a new $5B valuation. We also launched a community equity round, for our customers, agency partners, and club members.

Data Partnerships @ Clay
We’re looking for a Technical Partnerships Engineer to join our Data and Integration Partnerships team. In this role, you’ll be the technical backbone of our partner ecosystem—owning the end-to-end lifecycle of data provider and platform integrations, from scoping and building to launching and optimizing.
A core part of this role is data quality and evaluation: building the frameworks and processes to rigorously test, benchmark, and monitor our data providers. You’ll help us answer critical questions like “Which provider has the best email coverage for SMB?” and “Is this new enrichment source worth adding?”
You’ll work directly with partners like Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, and dozens of data enrichment providers to bring new capabilities to Clay’s customers. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role where you’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, and external partner teams.
What you'll do:
Integration Development & Maintenance
Write clean, well-documented code (primarily TypeScript/Node.js) for API integrations
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, working closely with partner technical teams
Monitor integration health, performance, and data quality
Data Testing & Evaluation
Build and maintain testing frameworks to evaluate data provider quality, accuracy, and coverage
Design benchmarking methodologies to compare providers across key dimensions (fill rates, accuracy, freshness, cost-efficiency)
Run structured evaluations when onboarding new data providers or renegotiating existing partnerships
Create dashboards and reporting to track provider performance over time
Partner with Product and Engineering to establish data quality standards and SLAs
Identify gaps in our data coverage and recommend providers or solutions to fill them
Partner Technical Enablement
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for strategic partners
Lead technical discovery calls and scoping sessions with prospective partners
Create technical documentation, implementation guides, and best practices for partners
Support partner developers building on Clay’s platform
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Product and Engineering to inform roadmap priorities based on partner and customer feedback
Work with GTM teams to enable sales motions around new integrations
Contribute to internal tooling that improves partner onboarding and integration management
Ecosystem Growth
Evaluate new data providers and integration opportunities
Prototype and validate new integration concepts quickly
Stay current on the data enrichment and sales tech landscape
What you'll bring:
3+ years of experience in a technical role (software engineering, solutions engineering, technical partnerships, or similar)
Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript; experience with Node.js
Deep familiarity with REST APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and integration patterns
Experience working with third-party APIs and navigating partner technical documentation
Comfort with data analysis—able to write SQL, build dashboards, and draw insights from messy datasets
Excellent written and verbal communication—you can translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Self-starter mentality; comfortable with ambiguity and context-switching
Nice-to-Haves
Experience building data quality frameworks, testing pipelines, or evaluation methodologies
Background in data enrichment, GTM tools, or the broader RevTech ecosystem
Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company
Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales/marketing tech stacks
Experience with Clay as a user or builder
Prior partnerships or business development experience
