Why Harvey
At Harvey, we’re transforming how legal and professional services operate — not incrementally, but end-to-end. By combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, we’re reshaping how critical knowledge work gets done for decades to come.
This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. With 1000+ customers in 60+ countries, strong product-market fit, and world-class investor support, we’re scaling fast and defining a new category in real time. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth — personal, professional, and financial — is unmatched.
Our team is sharp, motivated, and deeply committed to the mission. We move fast, operate with intensity, and take real ownership of the problems we tackle — from early thinking to long-term outcomes. We stay close to our customers — from leadership to engineers — and work together to solve real problems with urgency and care. If you thrive in ambiguity, push for excellence, and want to help shape the future of work alongside others who raise the bar, we invite you to build with us.
At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we’re just getting started.
Role Overview
Harvey’s Agent platform is the system that lets lawyers describe work in natural language and have Harvey execute it: pulling precedent, running analysis, drafting documents, enforcing firm-specific rules, all orchestrated by AI agents rather than manual step-by-step workflows.
We’re looking for a Staff Product Manager to own a core surface within this platform. You’ll define how lawyers interact with agents, how agents get created and discovered, or how the underlying platform makes both possible. The exact scope will be shaped by your strengths and where the team’s needs are sharpest when you join, but the throughline is the same: you’ll be responsible for a product that hundreds of thousands of legal professionals use to do substantive work.
This is 0-to-1 product work in a space where the patterns haven’t been written yet. Agents in legal are not chatbots with a different skin. They touch real client matters, real ethical walls, real documents that go to courts and counterparties. Getting this right means building trust systems, verification flows, and governance infrastructure alongside the core experience. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, applied legal research, and customer-facing teams to ship products that lawyers actually adopt.
We move fast, we ship with design partners, and we expect product leaders to be hands-on with the details while holding a clear vision for where the product is going.
What You'll Do
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for a core surface within Harvey’s Agent platform, from problem definition through launch and iteration
Define and drive the product vision for how lawyers interact with AI agents, grounded in real user workflows and firm-level deployment constraints
Work directly with engineering, design, and applied legal research to ship high-quality product on an aggressive timeline
Navigate enterprise complexity: ethical walls, audit trails, governance, multi-stakeholder approval flows. These aren’t afterthoughts here, they’re the product
Partner with GTM to shape how the product gets positioned, demoed, and adopted by the world’s largest law firms and in-house legal teams
Make hard prioritization calls with imperfect data in a fast-moving competitive landscape
What You Have
7+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time owning a user-facing product end-to-end (not just features within someone else’s product)
Experience building 0-to-1 products or leading major product pivots where the problem definition was as important as the solution
Strong product instincts for UX: you care about how things feel to users, not just whether they technically work
Comfort with technical depth. You don’t need to write code, but you should be able to engage with engineers on system design, architecture tradeoffs, and what’s actually hard
Experience shipping to enterprise customers with real governance, compliance, or regulatory constraints
Ability to operate in ambiguity, form strong opinions quickly, and update them when the evidence changes
Bonus: experience with AI/ML products, legal technology, or professional services
Compensation
$213,600 - $300,000
