Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
In SaaS, cloud alliances have become a primary route to distribution, co-selling, and credibility, particularly in security where buyers increasingly standardise on hyperscaler marketplaces. This Director-level seat sits at the intersection of product positioning, partner programs, and global go-to-market, with AWS as the focal point. The remit signals a mature SaaS operator using cloud ecosystems as a repeatable revenue channel rather than treating partnerships as ad hoc relationship management.
For a long-term SaaS career, the role builds durable expertise in marketplace mechanics, ISV program strategy, and competency-led differentiation, all of which translate across categories well beyond cybersecurity. Owning enablement frameworks and measurement also develops the operational discipline that SaaS companies rely on to scale partner motions across regions. The cross-functional nature of the work, spanning sales, marketing, regional teams, and external stakeholders, mirrors how modern SaaS growth is coordinated.
This role best suits professionals who prefer structured, programmatic execution alongside senior stakeholder management. It aligns with candidates who enjoy turning complex partner requirements into internal playbooks, training, and reporting that teams can actually run. It will resonate with leaders who want their SaaS impact measured through partner adoption and marketplace performance, not only direct sales activity.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.
