Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This role stands out in the SaaS ecosystem because it sits where enterprise go to market narrative meets product reality. For an AI platform selling into large organizations, keynote and mainstage moments function as high stakes distribution channels for messaging, shaping how buyers, partners, and internal field teams interpret what the product enables and why it matters.
From a career standpoint, the work builds durable SaaS skills in message architecture, executive level storytelling, and content systems that scale beyond a single event. The emphasis on translating complex initiatives into reusable talk tracks and enablement assets mirrors a common SaaS challenge: keeping positioning consistent across launches, sales cycles, and customer conversations while multiple teams contribute inputs.
The role fits a marketer who prefers cross functional orchestration over owning a single channel, and who can apply editorial judgment under shifting constraints from leadership, product marketing, and production. It will appeal to professionals who enjoy turning ambiguity into a clear narrative spine, and who want to be close to how enterprise SaaS companies operationalize messaging for the field and senior audiences.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.
Job Description
About the Team
The Enterprise Marketing team helps the world's largest organizations understand, adopt, and scale AI responsibly. We partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Solutions, Customer Success, Events, Design, Production, and executive leadership to translate OpenAI's technology into clear, credible stories for enterprise audiences.
Within Enterprise Marketing, the Content & Narrative team shapes the messaging behind OpenAI's most important field moments. We build keynote storylines, mainstage narratives, executive talk tracks, field-ready messaging, and reusable content systems that help senior audiences understand how AI creates value in practice.
About the Role
As the Marketing Manager, Keynote & Mainstage Narrative, you will shape the content behind OpenAI's most important CXO-facing field moments. This role sits at the intersection of executive storytelling, keynote development, mainstage content, field execution, design, production, and GTM strategy.
You will turn complex enterprise priorities and net-new initiatives into clear keynote arcs, mainstage narratives, and executive talk tracks that help senior audiences understand what OpenAI makes possible. You will also help the strongest content travel beyond the live moment through post-event amplification, seller-ready messaging, and enablement materials that make the story useful for field and GTM teams.
This role is based in San Francisco or New York City. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
In this role, you will:
Develop keynote and mainstage narratives for CXO-facing field moments, including leadership remarks, strategic sessions, customer-facing programs, and major enterprise initiatives.
Partner with production, design, GTM, product marketing, and field teams to create strong top-line messaging.
Build narrative systems that can scale beyond a single moment, including keynote arcs, talk tracks, field-ready messaging, modular storylines, post-event content, and reusable enablement assets.
Help clarify messaging for upcoming enterprise programs and launches.
Ensure major enterprise moments have a clear audience, message hierarchy, proof points, and follow-through.
Translate keynote and mainstage content into usable materials for field, enablement, and GTM partners.
Partner closely with presentation design and production so the story survives execution.
Identify which content should become reusable across field activations, customer follow-up, seller enablement, internal enablement, and future mainstage moments.
You might thrive in this role, if you:
Have 7+ experience developing keynote content, mainstage narratives, executive remarks, strategic messaging, campaign narratives, or enterprise-facing content.
Have a strong track record of turning ambiguous business priorities into clear audience-specific stories.
Have partnered cross-functionally with production, design, product marketing, sales, GTM, or senior leaders.
Can write, edit, and structure content for senior audiences.
Have translated keynote, mainstage, or top-line narrative work into reusable assets, talk tracks, decks, post-event content, or field-facing enablement.
Are comfortable working in fast-moving environments where priorities and inputs change.
Bring strong editorial judgment and can simplify, cut, sequence, and pressure-test a story.
Compensation Range: $227K - $252K USD
