Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This RF Designer role stands out in the SaaS-adjacent infrastructure layer where connectivity becomes a platform capability. Kepler’s work sits closer to the physical network that enables always-on services, pairing space-based communications payloads with ground terminals. For SaaS professionals, it is a reminder that product reliability and data delivery often depend on systems built well below the application layer, especially as more software businesses lean on real-time, globally distributed connectivity.
Career-wise, the position offers unusually end-to-end exposure across the hardware lifecycle, from early design tradeoffs through manufacturing support, test, and operational performance. That arc maps well to SaaS-style thinking about iteration, observability, and performance tuning, but applied to RF subsystems where constraints are tighter and feedback loops are more technical. Experience bridging simulation, PCB implementation, and measurement also translates into strong cross-functional credibility with firmware, systems, and product stakeholders.
This role is best suited to an engineer who prefers deep technical ownership and evidence-driven decisions, and who enjoys moving between design tools and lab validation. It will fit someone comfortable collaborating across disciplines and motivated by building foundational connectivity capabilities rather than purely application-level features.
