Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Prisma-Photonics sits at an intersection that matters in today’s SaaS ecosystem: cloud-delivered software that ingests high-volume, real world signals and turns them into operational insight. A Senior DevOps role here maps closely to the infrastructure challenges common in modern SaaS, but with added complexity from edge data collection, ML inference flows, and deployments that may span both customer cloud and on-prem environments.
From a career perspective, the work emphasizes durable SaaS skills: designing scalable architectures, building production-grade pipelines, and putting governance, security, and compliance practices into day-to-day engineering. The remit also highlights cost and health monitoring, which is increasingly central as SaaS organisations mature from shipping features to optimising reliability and unit economics. Exposure to AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD patterns translates well across data-heavy SaaS products.
This role is best suited to an experienced DevOps engineer who prefers owning architecture decisions and driving operational standards, not only maintaining systems. It will fit someone comfortable collaborating across data, ML, and product engineering while keeping an eye on resilience, observability, and controlled delivery in production environments.
